CNC Operator

We have a vacancy for a competent CNC Operator preferably experienced in Mazak CNC's and controls as well as CAD cam software (multiple CNC) to use the machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. You will be expected to safely produceparts for the extensive range of products in a variety of materials to a broad range of tolerances, both individual 'one off' to batch quantities.

You should be able to work with good concentration and precision and be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are a must.
- Setting and operating CNC Lathes and/or CNC Milling Machines
- Running and monitoring CNC machines
- Loading and unloading of production parts
- Wrapping materials
- Equipment checks
- Maintenance of 5S standards
- Deburring and cleaning product from machinery
- Cleaning and maintaining machinery
- Occasional assembly work may be required

**Core Competencies**:

- Minimum of 2 years working with CNC Lathes and/or Milling machines
- Experience using Mazak CNCs desirable
- Some mechanical manufacturing experience
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical dimensions
- Good attention to detail

This role is available immediately and is offered on a permanent contract, a good basic salary for the right experience is on offer, health care, pension, 25+8 days holiday and the option to buy another five days. The role requires you to work a day Shift(0730-1630) Mon
- Fri, and any overtime that is worked is paid at a premium.
