**Metering Service Advisor**

**Reading**

**Full time, 6 months**

**£12.50 per hour**

Tate are currently recruiting for temporary Metering Service Advisors for a 6-month contract within a large established and sustainable energy company. The role will be working on a hybrid basis between home and the office, therefore you will need to bebased close to the Reading.

**The Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Speaking with business customers and obtaining their meter readings
- Data Processing - imputing data and updating spreadsheets with business customer details and meter readings Will be working with external agents and businesses regarding settlements and collecting data Must be confident to make outgoing calls as and whenneeded to gather information (Main points of contact, meter readings, meter locations etc.)
- Arrange outbound calls to customers in response to their queries
- Note customer queries and raise to managers if the problem cannot be solved initially
- Transfer customers to correct departments when their issue is understood
- Attend to general office duties such as saving documents, printing letters
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Offer an empathetic attitude when advising
- Be resilient towards customers who are unhappy and need further assistance

**To be considered for this role you will need to be**:

- Have excellent IT Skills - especially Excel
- Split of customer services (business customers) and data processing position. Industry knowledge would be a bonus but not essential
- Are process driven and can work in a targeted / regulated environment
- Can manage their own workload and work well on their own initiative
- Very confident with a professional and engaging telephone manner
- Self-sufficient with an excellent attention to detail and strong accuracy
- Proactive, motivated, and committed to helping the business reach the targets set down by the regulators
