**Responsibilities**:
- Manage a key group of children, providing attentive and nurturing care, and observing and documenting their development progress.
- Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development, fostering their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children, parents, and staff, ensuring compliance with nursery policies and procedures.
- Develop positive and productive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Collaborate with the nursery team to contribute to the overall success and smooth operation of the nursery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a Full and Relevant childcare qualification at Level 2 or 3.
- Possess a clean enhanced DBS check (Flower Pots Day Nursery will facilitate this process upon employment).
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for children.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and implement activities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive and meaningful interactions with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Display enthusiasm, creativity, and adaptability in engaging children and promoting their learning and development.
