We are a people focussed organisation looking for a Senior Town Planner to join us. The main responsibilities of the role are:
Having a high working knowledge of the following Town and Country Planning Legislations and Sections of the Telecommunications Act, including;
- NPPF/SPP/NPF3; T&CP (E) (GPD) (A) (No.2) Order 2013,
- Part 24/T&CP (S) (GPD) (A) Order 2014 Part 20, Class 67; Code of Best Practice/PAN 62/TAN19
Telecommunications Act (1984)/Electronic Communications Code (2003)
Managing work volumes through internal and external teams
Close working with internal and external stakeholders
Completing monthly reports as required
Provide ongoing suggestions for improvements to existing work flows/practices that add value to our processes and client satisfaction
Ensure the timely & accurate recording of information on internal and client databases by all direct reports
Provide coaching, training & mentoring as required to various project employees
Understand, promote and comply with Daly International’s QA, Health, Safety & Environmental Policies and Procedures
Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
Both private & public sector town planning experience desirable
Demonstrated Planning experience within the Telecoms industry essential
Excellent communication skills - both verbal & written
Ability to handle heavy workload & competing priorities
Effective negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with all relevant stakeholders
Flexible & professional approach to work and be a team player
A critical eye for detail and accuracy, and the ability to follow issues through to a satisfactory conclusion
Strong analytical skills
Strong commercial awareness & business acumen
Self-motivated, confident & organised
Sound IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
**Salary**: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
