Accounts Receivable Assistant

**About the role**

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Finance Team as an Accounts Receivable Assistant in our High Wycombe office.Reporting in to the Accounts Receivable Processing Supervisor, this role will suit someone with previous experience of working in an office based finance role. We’re looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail as you’ll be working with highvalue transactions in a fast paced environment.

The role will need to be office based whilst training however a blend of office and home working for the team is the norm.

**Role Responsibility**
- Raising invoices by way of Excel to the Sales Ledger. Uploading the invoices into the SAP system to be generated onto a retailers account for payment.
- Allocating manual payments received into the business bank account on a daily basis, placing the payment on the retailers account by way of processing this through the SAP system
- Generating and arranging collection of retailers payments via the Direct Debit scheme.This process is to include running reports in the SAP system and arranging the collection of the payment via C Series bank accounts.
- Reversing dishonoured Direct Debit payments back to the ledger when they have been returned as 'unpaid' at the bank.
- Informing the Credit Control Team that the payments have failed. Reversing the transaction items through the system to appear as open ledger items, allowing the Credit Control Team to chase up the failed payments.
- Ad Hock duties, which could included assisting the Credit Control /New Business Team as and when required.

**You will need**

- To have a good knowledge of the Sales Ledger function within the Finance office environment, with at least one years experience.
- Computer Literate
- Good understanding of Excel, ideally with V Look up and Pivot table experience.
- SAP Knowledge (not essential)
- Working in a retail environment (not essential).
- A minimum of GCSE English and Maths
