**Procurement Manager - **Inside IR35**

**Location: hybrid (office attendance at either Carlisle or Warrington)**

**As a **Procurement Manager **your main responsibilities would be**:

- Organise market engagement events and collation of market insight for the Business for your respective category.
- Leading and managing multiple Tenders in compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR’s) and NTS Procurement Processes.
- Act as Tender Assessment Team Chair for some Bronze Procurements as required by your line manager.
- Act as Tender Assessment Team secretary as required by your line manager.
- Provide Contract Management support to the Business for your respective Category.
- Ensure that NTS meets its legislative, regulatory, customer and stakeholder obligations at all times
- Ensure that all contracts recommended for signature meet NTS processes and procedures ensuring all required functions have bought into the process.
- Ensure the provision of robust Management Information to ensure all required reporting is delivered in line with stakeholder expectations.
- Proactively seek to embed NTS cultural principles of freedom, helpfulness and drive in all that we do.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Experience of designing and running competitions in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations.
- Experience of procurement/supplier management in the Public Sector.
- Working under pressure, managing multiple projects to tight deadlines.
- Drafting and developing bespoke Terms and Conditions.
- Supplier and stakeholder management, including negotiation.
- Detailed & practical understanding of the Public Contracts Regulations, how to interpret them and implement them within a Public Corporation.
- Detailed awareness of identifying key stakeholders, understanding their key drivers, and managing their requirements.
- Ability to identify and develop mitigation plans for Supply Chain Risk.
- CIPS/MCIPS (desirable)- Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._
