Langdon UK have an exciting opportunity for a **Support Worker **to join their growing team in North London.
Location: Edgware / Borehamwood
**Salary**: £10.20 - £11.05 per hour dependent on experience + Pension
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time & Zero Hours positions available

Langdon was founded 30 years ago, and our services have steadily grown and we now help over 100 young Jewish people, providing youth services, education, supported living and employment services. **Support Worker - **The Role:
**As a Support Worker you **will be required to work individually and as part of a team to support and enable our members to live as independently as possible. You will also be responsible for working with our employment team to facilitate employmentopportunities and assisting and supporting our members to enjoy an active social life.
**You **will be required to work flexible hours which will involve working early and late shifts, including sleep in’s, weekends and bank holidays in accordance with member need.
**Support Worker - **Key Responsibilities:
- To assist and support in the provision of social, health, and personal care to our members
- To assist in supporting our members in designing and developing their support/care plans
- To assist and support Individuals to achieve goals that link to the Langdon Mission
- To support and enable our members to live as independently as possible
- To support and assist our members to develop new and existing skills
- To enable our members to form relationships and wider social networks
- Support our members to observe Jewish Culture
- To promote and adhere to the workplace **values** (Excellence, Responsive, Integrity, Caring and Empowering)
**Support Worker - **You:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, you must have a good standard of written English. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential. Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
