**Position Summary**:
At Absolute Care Services, we are dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of our clients by providing quality live-in care services within the comfort of their homes. Our Live-In support workers play a crucial role in supporting our clients with personal care, household tasks, and companionship, ensuring they remain safe, healthy, and happy in their familiar environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Companionship and Support**: Engage in meaningful conversations, participate in activities, and provide companionship to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
- **Personal Care**: Assist with personal hygiene activities such as bathing, dressing, and continence care, respecting the dignity and privacy of each client.
- **Mobility Assistance**: Aid clients in moving around their home safely, including transfers and positioning.
- **Medication Management**: Oversee and administer medications according to the care plan, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- **Household Management**: Perform light housekeeping tasks, laundry, and meal preparation, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
- **Errand and Appointment Assistance**: Accompany clients to appointments and outings, and assist with shopping and other errands as needed.
- **Care Plan Documentation**: Update and maintain care plan documentation daily on an electronic device, ensuring accurate records of care provided.
- **Experience and Qualifications**: At least six months of live in care experience or qualifications in healthcare, social care, or related fields are advantageous.
- **Skills and Attributes**: Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to respect, empathize with, and maintain the dignity of those in care. Competent in household management and cooking. Comfortable using technology for care documentation.
- **Personal Qualities**: Compassionate, patient, observant, and reliable, with a genuine desire to support others. Ability to build respectful and caring relationships with clients.

**Requirements**:

- 6 months live care experience
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own car and business insurance is desirable though not necessary
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Speaking additional languages would be beneficial
- Right to work in the UK

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Earnings between £735 -£895 (paid bi-weekly), variable depending on the needs of the client.
- Travel expenses
- transport to the client covered by ACS.
- 45p mileage paid for drivers.

- As this is a live-in position you will need to commit to living with your client for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time, although many of our Carers choose to stay in their placements for longer periods before having an extended break
- You must be flexible to travel to your client placement

**Working Conditions**:

- This is a full-time, live-in position requiring commitment to stay with the client for the duration of a rota, with flexible schedules available.
- The role involves traveling to clients' homes, with UK travel expenses reimbursable.
