We prioritise our family ethos and a positive work atmosphere to ensure the well-being of both our residents and team members. **Summary** We are seeking an Activities / Events Coordinator to join our caring team at The Huntington & Langham Estate in GB. This vital role involves planning and coordinating engaging activities that prioritise emotional connection, meaningful moments and supporting residents to be "free to be me". An element of the role will be to work alongside our marketing team to provide opportunities to include family, friends and the wider community in our events. We want to showcase and enhance our person centred activities. **Shift patterns**:30 hours per week - 8.30-6.30 including alternate weekends. Activities approx 20 hours per week, Event Co-ordinator approx 8-10 hours per wkke **rates**:Activities: £12.50 ph weekday £13.75 ph weekend £15 ph Overtime Events Coordinator: £15 per hour weekday **all breaks are paid** **Responsibilities** - Develop and implement a diverse activity program promoting person centred care. - Coordinate with staff and external vendors to organise events and outings. - Manage activity budgets and resources efficiently. - Foster a lively, inclusive environment that encourages participation. - Maintain accurate records of activities and resident engagement. - Promote social interaction and well-being through creative programming. - Support residents in individual activity plans when needed. - **Qualifications**: - Proven experience in activity planning, preferably within care or hospitality settings. - Excellent organisational and time management skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to motivate and engage residents effectively. - Experience with fundraising or event coordination is advantageous. - Passion for enhancing quality of life for older adults. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - **Call-To-Action** If you are passionate about making a positive impact through engaging activities, we invite you to bring your enthusiasm to our welcoming community.
