We're looking for a confident and enthusiastic people person to lead one of our Memory Lane social groups, providing support to those experiencing memory loss or dementia. Each session has a different theme, you, along with your volunteers, will be facilitating reminiscing, games, quizzes, music, refreshments and a warm welcome.

Our social groups provide a safe environment for people living with memory loss to enjoy themselves and take part in brain stimulating activities. They also give their unpaid carers the opportunity for some time away or social time with others who are caring for loved ones.

We would especially welcome people with previous experience of working, volunteering, or caring for people who have memory loss or dementia.

**Key tasks (indicative only)**:

- Deliver Memory Lane group sessions using a set programme of activities
- Work with colleagues to enhance and develop existing resources, using your own initiative and experience to expand on the weekly theme. Be ready to adapt sessions according to the circumstances and choices of the individuals attending.
- Ensure enough volunteers are available at each session to safely deliver the session and support the number of people attending. Ensure that volunteers feel valued and supported within their role, getting to know them and working to their strengths.
- Ensure that at each session individual members are welcomed and that appropriate record keeping is kept, using PramaLife registration form and register.
