We are seeking an experienced and proactive Clerk of Works to join our Investment Team. The team are responsible for delivery of complex Major Repair programmes throughout our 4500-housing stock with an annual budget of £5M.
First and foremost, you will be passionate about the work we do at Queens Cross. You will have social housing experience, preferably in major component replacement projects. You will provide a quality control service on our refurbishment projects managed by the Association; and maintain accurate and reliable records of works undertaken on site and ensure that the required standards of quality and accuracy of work and materials under the contract documents are delivered to the agreed criteria.
Working in our busy Property Services Department, you will support the Investment Manager to successfully deliver our substantial capital investment programmes, including component replacement programmes, works to improve the energy efficiency of our housing stock. Net Zero targets and property inspections.
You will:
- be an effective, highly motivated construction professional with excellent skills, be able to work well with contractors successfully.
- be well organised and able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- have demonstrable experience of working collaboratively with others.
- be committed to excellent customer service.
