Opened in 2012, Hotel Indigo Edinburgh is located in the heart of Edinburgh just moments from both Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle. Set within a category A-listed building dating back to the 18th century, the boutique hotel, which was originally five residential properties, still retains some of the original features including a decorative stairwell and unique cupola.

Each guestroom is individually decorated reflecting the neighbourhood story with details of Edinburgh's rich history and summer festival traditions. The hotel also benefits from a meeting room for 8 people and board meetings followed by personalised whiskey tastings are proving popular.

This job is for a fixed term of 3 months. As a Night Team Member, your primary responsibility will be to offer a friendly and efficient service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Right from the moment they arrive, you will be attentive to their needs, provide recommendations, and serve them accurately and efficiently. Your focus will always be on the guests, ensuring that they have a memorable stay by delivering excellent customer service consistently with an informed, friendly, and effective approach.

Role in our Family
- Welcoming guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner recognising IHG Rewards Club Members and returning guests
- Answering, recording and processing all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns, record guest preferences in the system
- Communicating any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up
- Booking guest reservations for individuals that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
- Perform other duties as assigned including serving in the bar, cleaning, action special guest requests
