**PURPOSE OF ROLE**:
To support the quality of the facilities, internal and external, through carrying out maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Main Tasks**
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing pump hoses or mixers for the factory
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment
- General upkeep of premises (outside) ie gritting car park
- Complies with all company safety regulations.
- Complete repairs that may not require a specialised technician
- Complete small projects such as carpet and ceiling tile replacement and general painting
- Regularly inspecting the buildings, fixtures, fittings, furniture, premises and grounds to carry out minor repairs to maintain safe and satisfactory conditions.
- Ensuring that all damaged or faulty equipment, work surfaces, fixtures and fittings are removed from use and that potential hazards are made safe
- Implement a method of reporting and prioritising tasks to minimise disruption to the business
- General housekeeping duties as and when required - ad hoc removal of storage equipment
**Communication**
- Communicate with all colleagues and support external contractors face to face, by telephone, in a professional manner
- Interpret and respond clearly, effectively, and in a timely manner to requests for information from colleagues, managers
- Understand business expectations and deliver against these in line with the company’s high standards
- Communicate within the team, supporting others where necessary
- Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Follow instructions and asking appropriate questions
- Ensure that all deadlines are met in a timely manner and people are kept informed of progress

- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility
- Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic filing systems -basic training will be provided Microsoft office/Excel and Outlook

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30.00 per week
