IT Graduate

Dovestone Technology Solutions are partnered with a leading organisation in Cheadle who are seeking a graduate with an interest in IT who they can train to become a key member of their support team.

The organisation are currently in a high growth phase, and in the process of greatly expanding their wider IT team due to business wins and a new product line. This role is designed for a self-starter who will provide technical support and deliver a highlevel of customer service to clients and other employees throughout the business.

The organisation have a clear development pathway for you to progress up through the ranks but you will initially start being mentored by one of their senior support engineers. They will teach you the basics of IT support, with you starting to look at hardwareissues across the business, then moving on to more complex software issues further down the line. This role is a great starting point for someone who wants a long term career in IT.

In terms of experience, this role could be carried out by a recent graduate or someone who has a background in support or passion for IT. You might have experience fixing computers in your own time, or have built your own PC from scratch. You need be ableto demonstrate an interest in computer operating systems and have knowledge of different hardware and software.

The company culture is something they pride themselves on with lots of plans in place to help new employees settle quickly. You will also be put through training plans, to help upskill yourself. Further down the line, there is a clear progression pathwayto progress with the business, with someone previously in this role being promoted inside 7 months.

Salary for this position is up to £20k in addition to a generous benefits package.
