My client, a leading manufacturing and engineering company who specialise within the Aerospace industry are currently looking for two experienced Test Technicians / Test Engineer's to join their team.
Role Summary:
Testing of a hydro-mechanical product for a critical customer. We are looking for a test engineer to help deliver our test campaign and work alongside our current team. A demonstrable history in the delivery of DO160 test campaigns is desirable.
Requirement of the Role:
Support and contribute to our Health & Safety objectives.
Review and understand Test Requirement documentation.
Review and understand the product, its operation and key features.
Work closely with Engineering Team to ensure Design Intent of testing is achieved.
Prepare and commission test rigs.
Prepare test equipment for offsite tests (Vibration, Salt Fog, Sand and Dust, etc).
Run internal Test Rigs via LabVIEW interface.
Support and deliver external tests.
Document test results via test reports. Updated daily throughout test campaign.
Perform daily maintenance checks and operations.
Requirements of the individual
A demonstrable background in the delivery of test campaigns (DO160 desirable).
Demonstrated ability to work with third party service providers (eg Outsourced testing) in a development environment.
Experience of LabVIEW and other data acquisition products.
Understanding of instrumentation.
Understanding/Awareness of Aerospace procedures for hydraulic cleanliness.
Demonstrated ability to provide effective written and verbal communication to peers and managers.
Diligent, reliable, responsible.
