We are seeking an Evening Site Supervisor to provide efficient and effective supervision of the school site and community lettings business (High Leisure) outside of normal school hours.

The post holder will be responsible for:

- The security of the premises including monitoring, operating and maintaining site security systems and locking up the school and lettings site at the end of the day
- Maintaining the school building, including effecting repairs and improvements
- Carrying out cleaning of designated areas and monitoring the cleaning carried out by the cleaning team
- Being the designated onsite first aider (training will be provided)

**Job Description - Evening Site Supervisor**

To whom responsible: School Business Manager

**Purpose of Post**:
Operating within the school’s support staff structure, the post holder will ensure the efficient and effective supervision of curriculum and community provision occurring after the normal school working day.

This post provides support for the community provision (High Leisure) and school functions occurring after the normal school day (4pm - 10.30pm).

**Principal Duties**

The safe, effective and efficient supervision of the site and community provision occurring after the normal school working day including:

- Responding appropriately to communication occurring after the normal school day, including on site enquiries, deliveries etc.
- Monitor, operate and maintain appropriate site security systems, including locking up the school buildings at the end of the day and lettings outside school hours
- Respond promptly and effectively to accidents or injuries on site, administering basic first aid and ensuring all incidents are accurately recorded.

The safe, effective and efficient supervision of the school and community provision operations including:

- Supervising/co-ordinating school maintenance and refurbishment, cleaning, use and care of equipment and general preparation of sports areas
- Management, maintenance and storage of resources and equipment
- Deployment and supervision of staff
- Management and supervision of community users
- Ensuring appropriate safeguarding and health and safety measures are in place
- Organise and carry out cleaning duties
- Maintain the school building, including effecting repairs and improvements in order to fulfil the school’s specific responsibilities.

Supporting parental and community evenings by ensuring room layouts for meetings, parents evenings, exams, lettings, etc are as required

Ensure high standards of safety, security, presentation, hygiene and cleanliness across the school site including:

- supervision of the cleaning supervisor and cleaning team
- contributing to grounds and facility management
- contributing to monitoring of school security systems including CCTV and Paxton locks

Conducting daily monitoring of areas of curriculum and community provision occurring after the normal school day

Operating within lone worker guidelines where appropriate.
