Transport Debrief Clerk

We are currently recruiting for a **full-time, permanent, Transport Administrator** to join our team in **Trafford Park**. Working on behalf of our customers Costa Coffee and Whitbread, to ensure the safe delivery of chilled, frozen and ambient products to more than 2500 Costa Coffee, Premier Inns and associated restaurant chains throughout the UK.

You will be working on **’any 5 days out of 7’ rotating shift **pattern, covering the hours of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Be responsible for driver briefs and de-briefs in regard to delivery performance
- Manage electronic POD’s, vehicle and telematic technology
- Liaise with warehouse operations to ensure a smooths flow of information and paperwork to meet delivery schedule
- Undertake clerical duties for the department including transport KPI’s and communication reports

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Previous experience in transport environment preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of transport legislation and European Working Time Directive desirable
- Working with Food Safety standard experience preferred but not essential
- IT Literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
