Maintenance Handyperson

**Job Summary**:
The Ascot Group are looking for a maintenance person with a ‘can-do’ attitude, a problem solver and proactive forward thinker. Project Management skills for overseeing various works and small projects on a mixture of commercial and residential properties would be very helpful although not essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Painting and decorating
- Assisting in refurbishment projects
- Stain blocking and mould treatment
- Assistance in Kitchen fitting
- Stud walls/plaster boarding works
- Gardening and landscaping
- Fencing
- Hanging of Doors
- General maintenance and handyman skills ie Changing of PVC window handle
- Lock Repairs and replacements
- Handling, transport and set up of equipment and furniture
- Re-grouting/re-tiling of wall and floor tiles
- Measuring up and fitting of curtains and blinds
- Fitting and rehanging doors/shower screens
- Change light-bulbs including low voltage and transformer replacement, change light switches and plug points
- Clearance of unwanted furniture and rubbish
- Basic plumbing skills desirable but not essential, for example tap replacements
- Ensuring works are left clean and tidy

**Skills**:

- It’s essential to have good attention to detail
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

**Salary**:

- To be confirmed and dependant on experience

**Hours**:

- Part time and full-time hours available
