Join our Domestic Team in our new care home and help us create an inviting environment for the people we support. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the entire home, contributing to a comfortable and positive living experience.

We’ve partnered with Sterling University to design Springfield Vale as a purpose-built home, that follows their principles of dementia design, creating an environment that supports the cognitive and physical needs of people with dementia.

Once open, you’ll work towards achieving Sterling Universities accreditation and making Springfield Vale a leading home for complex dementia care.

**About the role**:
As a Domestic Assistant you will ensure our home maintains a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene to help create a comfortable living space for the people we support.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- carrying out all daily and weekly **cleaning routines**, as well as ad-hoc duties
- cleaning and tidying **designated areas**around the home including bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, kitchens and offices
- cleaning duties including** dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming**:

- using **equipment** such as carpet cleaning machines
- supporting with **washing and drying laundry**, as required
- reporting** breakages**, damage, defects and hazards
- building trust and promoting** choice, dignity and independence**.
