We are a non-ferrous foundry specialising bronze artwork and brass hardware. We make sculpture, lighting, brass parts, and a wide variety of small to medium sized objects. We have a wide range of customers including artists, galleries, and businesses.

You should have previous metalworking experience, preferably with bronze and brass, a keen eye for detail and a thorough approach to producing high quality pieces.

2+ years experience in a metalworking role is essential.

You’ll be constructing and finishing sculptures, lighting, and hardware from bronze and brass castings, with tasks including:

- Fettling and linishing.
- Welding.
- Soldering.
- Sculpting details with air tools, sanders, and other hand tools.
- Surface preparation and polishing.
- Grinding.
- Drilling and tapping.
- Fabricating items such as bases using plate and bar.
- Basic maths.

Essential Experience
- 2+ years working for a foundry, fabricator, or metal finisher.
- Metal fabrication.
- Surface preparation and metal finishing.
- Knowledge and awareness of the health and safety in metalworking.

Desirable Experience
- Non-ferrous metalwork.
- Qualified welder.
- Lighting industry experience.

Personal Qualities
- Independent and proactive. You will be expected to complete clear workloads without micro-management.
- Problem solving and attention to detail. With demanding customers we must provide accurate and high quality work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.33-£13.81 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
