Architectural Technician Location - Liverpool Job Type - Permanent / Full Time Salary/Package - £30-35k dependant on experience + car / allowance, pension, company bonus and additional company benefits A five star house builder seeks to appoint an experienced Architectural Technician to join their regional offices in Liverpool. The company are one of the top 10 house builders who build new properties homes ranging from 1 bed apartments to luxury family homes across the UK. The company pride themselves in quality, customer service and delivering high standards The Role - Architectural Technician The company have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join as an Architectural Technician with the aspirations to progress as the regional office grows. Reporting to the Technical Director the Architectural Technician will ensure timely delivery of complete, high quality and cost effective designs and approvals for multiple new build housing developments. Duties to include: " Preparation of construction packages, details and specifications. " Working alongside external consultants and suppliers to complete a full tender package for the commercial, construction, sales and marketing team to work with " Liaise with the NHBC Building Control department. " Support the upkeep of the standard house type range, specifications and details as well as suggesting improvements for future packages and providing technical assistance to the team as required. " Attend site-based meetings as and when required. " Keep up to date with CDM and CPD responsibilities specific to the role. " Maintain up to date with legislation and regulations as well as have an understanding of future regulations that are coming into effect within the industry Architectural Technician - Skills & Experience " Experience of working as an Architectural Technician within the housebuilding sector. " Good working knowledge of AutoCAD architecture " Ability to be able to express technical information in a clear and concise manner. " Effective communication and listening skills " Excellent attention to detail " Good administration skills " Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously " Demonstrate a creative flair and innovative approach to development layouts.
