Payroll Supervisor

**Temporary Payroll Supervisor required**

**Bridgend area**

**Temporary for approx. 6 Months +**

**Hourly rate £12.50 - £15.00 + holiday pay**

My client, is a fabulous Public Sector organisation based in the Bridgend area. Due to an internal promotion, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join its finance team initially on a temporary basis. This role will be suitablefor an experienced and hands on Payroller who has exposure of working on large payrolls, within a busy and ever-changing environment. It is vital you have managed a small team, and feel comfortable with over-seeing a team of 4 payroll administrators.

**Reporting into the Head of Department you will be responsible for the following tasks**:

- Manage full end to end process of Payrolls using Agresso
- Manage the payroll team in delivering a timely and accurate payroll service
- Improve payroll processes & processes
- Line management & mentoring of payroll administrators
- Ensure implementation of new statutory requirements
- Ensure completion of year-end procedures
- Liaison and compliance with HMRC regulatory requirements
- Liaison with pension providers ensuring that all pension administration is up to date
- Train and motivate payroll team members

**Key Skills and Competency**:

- Up to date knowledge of HMRC current payroll legislation to include Real Time Information
- Experience of using Agresso Business World would be highly beneficial
- Good understanding of Pension auto enrolment
- Excellent Excel skills are essential
- Experience of basic HR processes and administration
- Good written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and calculate payroll manually
- Good numeracy skills

The working hours are 8.45am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday. My client can be flexible with start/finish times.
