Graduate needed for Teaching Assistant position in Wantage

There is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to kick start their career in education. A warm and welcoming Primary school based in Wantage are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to support the children in Key Stage 1 or 2. This isan exciting opportunity for a graduate to develop their experience within education. A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role and a graduate with some previous experience working with children is desirable. This relevant previousexperience could include childcare, tutoring, helping within a nursery, in a sport setting, charity or in a similar classroom setting. Any experience or interest is supporting children with SEN would be a huge advantage for this role

The Primary school in Wantage are looking for bright and enthusiastic graduates who are passionate about their input into a child's education. The graduate appointed will be supporting the children in their numeracy and literacy within Key Stage 1 and 2and the teaching assistant's primary role will be to ensure each child is fulfilling the learning objective for each lesson.

There are also extensive opportunities to support children with Special Educational Needs if this was to be something the graduate was interested in or passionate about.
