**Role**: Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager
**Location**: New Forest, Hampshire
- **Hours**: 40 Hours Per Week
**Pay**: £40,000 - £50, 000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for one of our clients based in the New Forest and they are looking for an experienced Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager to join their small family run home. They pride themselves on person centred care and promote the residentsfeeling of self-worth, whilst still respecting privacy and maintaining their independence and dignity.
They have a fantastic team and are keen to appoint a Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager that can hit the ground running. My client strives to ensure the provision of the highest quality service to their service users and their most recent CQC report is currentlyrated 'Good'.

**Responsibilities**:

- To support the manager and in their absence to have responsibility for the management of the service within the agreed resources available.
- To undertake assessments of prospective service users to ensure that the service is able to meet their needs.
- To act as clinical lead with particular responsibility for the management of behaviour that challenges including the review of care plans and the education of staff.
- To carry out nursing procedures within the whole unit as necessary ensuring that physical and mental health needs are met.
- To ensure that all medication is received, recorded and administered in accordance with Trust policy.
- To assist the manager in providing end of life care, that ensures the dying receive the utmost care that we can provide.
- To lead, direct, supervise and support staff working within the service to ensure the service responds flexibly to the individual needs of service users and that they are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
- To provide induction training, information and supervision to staff as appropriate, ensuring they understand their duties and Trust Policies and Procedures.
- To report all maintenance and equipment issues promptly in accordance with Trust Policy.
- To attend Trust managers meetings in the absence of the manager.

**Requirements**:

- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
- Have experience in Health and Safety Practice, Person Centred Care Approach, Addressing someone’s physical needs and advanced care planning.
- Have good people management and leadership skills
- Be IT literate
- Have experience in leading a team of nurses and carers to a high standard for at least 2 years
- Have knowledge and skills in End of Life Care
