**About you**

Are you an organised, customer-focused professional looking to make an impact in a lively and fast-paced environment? We're seeking a proactive **Hire Desk Controller** to be the backbone of our operations, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service.

**Position Overview**:
As Hire Desk Controller you will be working closely with Sales Managers and Operations team to ensure all necessary paperwork is received and processed accurately, attention to detail is a must.

**Key responsibilities, this will include, but is unlikely to be limited to**:

- Creating rental agreements and supporting documentation
- Uploading of hire and sales documents to SharePoint
- Ensure all on/off hire orders are taken in detail and processed correctly. - input into IT hire system
- Dealing with queries
- Follow company policies and procedures relating to hire desk processes
- Ensure relevant spreadsheets and SharePoint are updated daily/weekly and any concerns are brought to the attention of Hire Desk Manager
- Answer incoming calls and deal with enquires efficiently in a timely manner
- Liaise with fleet department regarding availability and progress of existing orders
- Secure driver training bookings
- Ensuring customer insurance policies are valid for the duration of hire

**The successful Hire Desk Controller will hold**:

- Previous experience in the hire industry is desired but not essential.
- Confident with IT packages, including Sharepoint
- Good communications skills, written and verbal
- Excellent Organisation skills and an ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Great team player who can also work well on their own
