**Localities & Assets Programme Lead**

The role will sit in the Council’s Public Health & Wellbeing Directorate, but strong partnership working across the wider organisation and with NHS and voluntary sector partners will be key to delivering on these ambitions.

The role will include:

- Planning and delivering a high impact programme of a complex and sensitive nature, supporting decision makers to ensure the delivery of agreed outcomes within the resources available.
- Regularly reviewing relevant budgetary information for each expenditure area, and using this information to make informed, strategic proposals to relevant budget holders.
- Supporting the development and implementation of plans to reduce areas of high spend in line with the aspirations and targets set by relevant budget holders
- Significant experience of best practice programme / project management methodologies, and evidence of having applied these to deliver complex and high profile projects and programmes.
- Good understanding of the key issues for the NHS, local authorities and service users (including a clear understanding of the national integration agenda).
- Knowledge of innovative approaches to transforming services in the public sector.
- Experience of managing cross organisational initiatives to achieve strategic goals, service improvements and efficiencies, with evidence of success in achieving targets and managing performance.
- Understanding and experience of financial analysis and business planning processes.
