Achilleus Security is now recruiting **Event and Football Stewards** in the **Colchester area** to work at exciting venues, stadiums, concerts, festivals, and major events.

Every shift is different — from local matches and university events to large-scale festivals and sporting fixtures across the South East.

**Pay & Benefits**

**Hourly Pay (from April 2025)**:

- **Event / Football Steward - In Training**: £13.68 per hour
- **Qualified Steward (Level 2+ Spectator Safety)**: £14.12 per hour
- (All rates include holiday pay)_

We’ll support you to gain your **Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety Qualification** while you work.

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and people-focused individuals who want to be part of a **professional and friendly event safety team**.

To apply, you must:

- Be **18 years or older**:

- Have a **good command of English** (spoken & written)
- Hold (or be willing to work towards) a **Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety Qualification**:

- Be **physically able** to stand and walk for long periods
- Be available for **weekend and evening shifts**:

- Be able to provide:

- Proof of ID & right to work in the UK
- 5-year checkable work or education history

Experience in customer service, security, or stewarding is helpful — but not essential.
A **positive attitude and reliability** are what matter most.

**Typical Duties**

As an **Event / Football Steward**, you will:

- Welcome and assist guests at events and venues
- Monitor entry and exit points
- Provide directions and information
- Ensure crowd safety and follow safety procedures
- Report incidents or suspicious behaviour
- Assist in emergency evacuations if required
