**The Role - Management Accountant**:
This is a busy and varied role that would suit a Qualified or Part-Qualified individual. Duties include:

- Liaising with various departments to ensure that regulatory requirements involving preparation of statutory accounts are met
- Advising our client on their obligations and maintaining an accurate file system
- Preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts, providing analysis and designated reports
- Bookkeeping and VAT reporting to a high standard
- Cashflow reporting and forecasting
- Month/Quarter end adjustments and reconciliations
- Providing support and training to junior team members to maximise their performance
- Working as part of a team and when required to prepare ad hoc reports for clients and perform payment runs

**About You - Management Accountant**:

- Ideally you will already be working in a role of a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant within a professional accountancy practice
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified or Part Qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience of bookkeeping, producing monthly management accounts, specifically including preparing prepayments, accruals, depreciation, accrued income and deferred income
- Previous experience of working in a Professional Services firm
- Knowledge on cash flow reports and forecasts is desirable
- Strong knowledge of Xero, Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Excel
- Up to date knowledge of accounting and taxation practices and current developments
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Organised and commercially minded, displaying level of flexibility and professionalism
