**Alive - Communications Officer (full time)**

Based in Bristol, award-winning charity, Alive, works to enrich the lives of older people and support their carers. We believe passionately that all older people should feel connected to each other and the world around them. Our innovative activity sessions, projects and training make this possible.

We are a close and caring team that work hard while enjoying what we do. You will be joining the team at an exciting time; we are looking for somebody to shout about the positive work we are already doing and to improve our brand awareness and geographical reach.

**The Role**

This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious charity in a sector with huge need. You will become part of a highly motivated group of staff as a key member of the team, delivering creative and engaging communications for the charity.

You will be an experienced marketing professional with at least two years’ experience in planning, implementing and leading successful marketing campaigns. A naturally strong communicator; you will spend a lot of time on the phone talking with potential customers, upselling products and advising of most suitable services. You’ll possess excellent written skills and be confident in writing engaging copy for a variety of audiences. You’ll have experience of maintaining a website (WP) and be confident managing a variety of digital platforms from social media to e-newsletters. Comfortable with working across a wide variety of communications tasks will be key as you’ll be supporting services, sales and project teams to raise awareness of Alive and maximise external engagement.
