The College offers routes into learning from entry level through to MBA level, including apprenticeships, higher level apprentices, higher education and job centre plus clients. The College trains circa 850 apprentices, including circa 110 higher level apprenticeships and delivers work place training, traineeships and higher level technical and professional specialisms up to MBA level in our 4 strategic vocational areas; Construction, Design & Management; Engineering including mechatronics & robotics; Digital Creative; Health & Social Care and Leadership and Management across the pan London occupational sectors. **Join our Team** We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for a Head of Marketing & Communication. We are looking for a vibrant Head of Marketing & Communication who’ll lead all our marketing activities, act as "brand guardian" and ensure all marketing projects are successfully implemented and executed. The Head of Marketing & Communication responsibilities include developing plans to help establish our brand, allocating resources to different projects and setting short-term and long-term department goals. If you’re a skilled strategist who is hands-on, and able to inspire and develop a team, we’d like to hear from you. You will take the lead in promoting our college's image and reputation among it's constituencies including parents, feeder schools, businesses and the wider community. Ultimately you will focus on ensuring higher profitability and competitiveness.
