We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Work Experience Assistant to join our vibrant education team here at Portland College.

This varied role will involve liaising with various members of the Education team to organise, coordinate and monitor internal work experience placements for our learners; support and work with specialist learning support staff to ensure the smooth running of placements; and to monitor compliance in line with the college Health and Safety policy.

To succeed in this role, you will be an outstanding team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will have a strong commitment to supporting the needs of and contributing towards positive opportunities for our learners.

You will work within a strong and supportive education team, along with a variety of staff members across the college.

**Qualifications needed**

**Essential**
- Maths and English Functional Skills at Level 2 or GCSE Level 4

**Desirable**
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Education and Training.
- Systematic Instructor Training

**Working Hours**
- Monday to Friday: 8:40am - 4:30pm
