Yard Foreman

As our 'Yard foreman' you will be an essential part of a small team undertaking the primary manufacture and delivery of premium animal feed and bedding from farm grown crops within a busy working agricultural environment.

**Main duties**:

- To drive a telehandler in the site yard unloading and loading large square and round agricultural bales. This will include precise loading of production lines.
- To competently manage stock within the yard. To operate concise recording procedures and work closely with management in order to optimise end products,
- To assist within the general production lines on site.

**Essential skills**:

- Telehandler operator. Minimum 12 months driving telescopic handlers in an agricultural or industrial environment.
- Experience or background in an agricultural or industrial environment.
- Experience in working with mechanical / industrial machinery.
- Good communications skills and be able to work well within a small team.
- Punctual and good attendance.

**Desirable skills**:

- Forklift operator
- Tractor driving / handling experience
- Previous farm experience

Applicants will need to work as part of the team and liaise with the farm and production manager. They will need to be willing to assist on production lines when necessary, including manual handling.

The role represents growth in the business and is very much aimed at continuing the growth of the different products being distributed nationally.

Unsociable hours may sometimes be necessary. Potential for overtime.

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
