**Opportunity Summary**:
**Role Accountabilities**:

- To finish laser cut blanks in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Ability to read and understand data cards and drawings to the level required.
- Complete ream & clean operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.
- Use and day-to-day maintenance of pillar drills, grinding equipment, orbital sanders and general hand tools.

**General Responsibilities**:

- To finish laser cut blanks in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Comply with all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
- Read and understand the requirements on the Job Card for the operation to be carried out.
- Ensure that all the documentation required to carry out the operation in accordance with the Job Card is available at the point of use and at the correct revision.
- Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes, Engineering Drawings, Ream sheets, Data Cards, etc.
- Use of relevant measuring equipment as required to check conformance to requirements.
- Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant specifications to ensure that components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations.
- Ensure that components identified as non-conforming during in process inspection are identified and communicated in accordance with the Non-Conformance Procedure.
- Complete all work booking requirements within the MRP system to ensure accurate WIP records.
- Follow work handling and storage instructions to prevent damage to components.
- Support Root Cause Analysis activities when non-conformance occurs to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure that work areas are tidy, cleaned and maintained in accordance with 5S requirements.
- Engage and contribute to Continuous Improvement activities to maximise efficiency.
- Comply with all company procedures and policies.

**Person Specification**:

- Previous experience of working to Aerospace standards
- Preferably 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Has a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrates good teamwork, but should also be capable of working individually
- Is self-driven with a positive outlook
- Has good communication skills
