Vacancy - Branch Assistant

Location - Bordon, Hampshire

Industry - Electrical & Plumbing Sales

Hours - Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota basis

Salary - up to circa £33,000 + bonuses

Our client is an established and busy business with good staff retention.

They are looking for a branch assistant with some electrical wholesale product knowledge to assist in their busy branch.

The role

Assisting customers at the trade counter working in this busy branch.

Ensuring that the needs of the customers are dealt with as well seeking out any add on sales

Processing orders using the company systems

Building, developing and managing relationships with customers face to face and on the phone

Ensuring all records, systems and paperwork are kept up-to-date

Working in the warehouse, picking and packing orders

Exceptional customer facing experience in an electrical wholesaler would be ideal for this role.

Skills & Experience needed?

Good Electrical product sales knowledge and experience

Manage, meet and exceed customer expectations

The ability to build relationships with a variety of customers

Have worked on the trade counter before ideally in an electrical wholesale environment

Good communication skills

Enjoys sales and dealing with people

Friendly, articulate, customer focused

Have a flexible attitude and be able to help out where required
