As a **Waste Operative** with Sodexo, you'll enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless facilities operations and keep things running smoothly.

**What you'll do**:

- Be a friendly face, assisting employees, clients, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Undertake collection of various waste streams including, manufacturing, domestic and recyclable wastes from all departments and buildings within the site including premises remote from the main site
- Ensure the correct segregation of all the waste streams collected to meet the site waste policy.
- Encourage recycling materials within your area of work
- Drive FLT and ensure the operation of this is safe at all times.
- Routine Daily checks of electric forklifts and waste handling equipment ensuring operational fitness.
- Reporting any faults to the Waste Supervisor

**What you'll bring**:

- Previous experience in a similar client facing role is a plus, but excellent interpersonal and communication skills are the key
- A positive, energetic and proactive attitude
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
