An exciting opportunity has arisen at Moorpark Nursery based in Preston. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to work in our beautiful home from home nursery.

If you are highly motivated, flexible, experienced in working in Early Years and you have a genuine interest in working with children, then this is the role for you

**Essential Requirements**:

- NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent.
- Have Paediatric First Aid training (Desired but not essential as training will be given)
- Have Safeguarding Training Level 2 or above (Desired but not essential as training will be given)
- To have a firm and broad understanding of the EYFS Statutory requirements and how to implement these.
- To fully understand OFSTED requirements and ensure these are implemented to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities (but not exhaustive of)**:

- To prioritise the safeguarding of all children, staff and families that have access to the setting
- To have a can do attitude and be adaptable to the needs of the nursery and company.
- To fully understand and promote the company’s Ethos and Core Values.
- To be a key player to ensure the nursery receives excellent outcomes in internal audits and those of external authorities such as Ofsted.
- To use initiative at all times.
- To promote a fun, high quality environment for all children in our care.
- Ensuring the Welfare and Learning development requirements of all children are met at all times.
- To confidently and respectfully work in partnership with parents and carers.
- Undertake a shared responsibility for the health and safety of the nursery.
- Take pride in the delivery of exciting and age appropriate activities.
- To confidently carry out planning, observations and next steps for your key group.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £19,760.00-£23,310.00 per year
