Global FinTech seeks a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer to help deliver the next generation of its B2B2C SAAS products through the delivery of exceptional User Experience consultancy combined with high quality, User Interface designs.
Working closely with the Chief Product Officer you will be responsible for establishing the design system whilst working with your chosen elements of the existing brand strategy and develop robust user interface designs across the 3 core product offerings deployedon a global market place basis.
Whilst this is a dual UX / UI capacity role (roles are likely to become more defined/split further down the line) we require an experienced Product Designer who can contribute to UX / CX whilst their bias of expertise remains within UI design, creating compellingand engaging User Interfaces within the SAAS product lines with an oversight of interaction design, visual design, information architecture and Typography.
The Product Designer, UX/UI Designer will work within Agile teams comprising Developers, Product Managers, Product Owners, and QA Testers as well as with corporate stakeholders - client users and internal senior management and be involved in the project managementprocess (Agile) working closely with the Senior Product Managers for each platform. You will develop an understanding of the needs of users to simplify complex business problems into a coherent, end-to-end customer experience. You will test your design, prototypeand implementation on a regular basis and identify the best approaches to deliver the team design and product goals.
From a hands-on perspective you will create Wireframes, Prototypes, Information Architecture and User Journeys which can be refined through stakeholder engagement and subsequently create Graphical User Interface Designs / High Fidelity Designs. This will ultimatelybecome the main focus of this role: delivery of User Interfaces for Website, SAAS Products and Web Portals. A range of contemporary tools will be employed to achieve these goals but likely to include Figma and Creative Suite tools Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,AfterEffects etc. The mix of tools to be used can be specified by you.
We are searching for a Product Designer that can demonstrate experience working as both a User Interface Designer & User Experience Designer / Customer Experience Designer. These roles may have been undertaken in tandem or separately but ultimately within anenvironment that is focussed on SAAS Products. You will have remained in that environment (or environments) to an extent that will have enabled you to be involved in the end-to-end product lifecycle from conception and testing, information architecture andrefinement, user journeys and wireframes through UI design and implementation.
Ideally, you may have been working in-house for a startup/skillup Fintech or SAAS product development company and/or within corporate environments that have smaller teams delivering cutting edge SAAS products and web portals. You may have gained experiencewithin digital agency environments who have worked with multi-national corporate companies with digital product offerings.
