Resettlement Worker required to work with service users with a range of low to medium needs
Brook Street Social Care are currently looking for experienced Resettlement Worker to work in an all-woman's Homeless Hostel for adults with complex needs in West London.
Details of the role:
Position: Resettlement Worker
Location: West London
Pay: £13-£15 Per hour
Hours: Temporary or Permanent contract
You will be playing an important role in providing excellent support and care for the clients. Your daily tasks as a Resettlement Worker will include assisting service users, many who are struggling with mental health issues, at risk of homelessness and substancemisuse. It is important for you to be able to pay close attention to your surroundings communicating and liaising with service users, families and other whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
**Duties**:
Domestic duties/tasks.
Promoting and ensuring privacy and dignity.
Adapting your communication to everyone.
Providing emotional support to individuals.
Conduct regular reviews of Support Plans and risk assessments.
Provide tenancy management and support.
Shift Patterns flexible working hours
Minimum requirements to work with BS Social Care as a Care Worker:
Recent Resettlement Worker experience
You must have the right to work in the UK
A warm and personable nature with the ability to work with patience and understanding.
Be able to conduct regular reviews of support plans and risk assessments
DBS on update service or willing to do one.
