**Purpose of the role**

Working within the Assembly and Test area progressing hydraulic gear pumps predominantly for the agricultural market through to Despatch.

**Specific responsibilities**:

- The correct function of Test rigs as instructed.
- Responsible for maintaining housekeeping standards.
- Checking pump quantity required for customer prior to packing.
- Assist with cross functional training.
- Understand Test specifications.
- Health & Safety processes and checks including manual handling and general housekeeping of section and machines.
- Compliance of 6S and TPM Functions.
- Liaise with Leading man-tech and Cell Leaders the need for Maintenance Requisition, Tools Requisition.
- Any other duties as required by management.

**Experience**:

- Technical knowledge of testing pumps
- Ability to build pumps
- Planning and organising skills
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Good planning and organising skills.
- Ability to work in a busy environment

Products include Combined Variable and Fixed Displacement Pump Packages, Temperature Controlled Fan Drive Systems and Fixed Displacement Pumps in Aluminum and Cast iron with a range of additional integrated valve option.

Contract length: 12 months
