We are looking for a Trainee Solar PV Design Engineer to join our team within this fast-growing sector of the market. Responsible for designing quality electrical designs for the Solar PV systems from install to the feasibility to the handover/completion.

The work will vary but will include being responsible for the bespoke design of Solar PV Systems. Design work will include both the commercial and domestic sector.

Full Training will be given to assist you to grow into the role

Responsible for designing quality electrical designs for the Solar PV systems we install, from feasibility to the handover/completion.

Assisting with DNO notifications and providing MCS certificates.

Work as part of a team with other technical designers, project managers and to create a cost-effective detailed technical design to meet the specification.

Provide guidance to any Solar PV technical queries

Continually keeping up to date with relevant technologies in order to provide advice to the company on technology choices.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and other internal teams.

Support the design of mechanical systems/equipment to provide for a useful and safe workplace.

Skills and experience

Knowledge of CAD and / PV SOL and Microsoft Office.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
