**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems including flat and pitched roofs.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout and materials required for roofing projects.
- Fabricate and build roofing components as needed to ensure structural integrity.
- Perform heavy lifting and manoeuvre materials safely on-site.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing roofing materials.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and masons, to complete projects efficiently.

**Skills**
- Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints related to roofing projects.
- Strong fabrication skills with the ability to build custom roofing components.
- Experience in carpentry, masonry, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £22.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
