Ice Cleaning Solutions are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to provide valuable support to the Finance Department, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
The Finance Assistant will play a vital role within the company’s finance department, assisting the Head of Finance and CFO with managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounting tasks. The post holder will have integrity, excellent mathematical skillsand an understanding of data privacy standards.
**Accounts Assistant Responsibilities**:
- Maintaining sales and purchase ledger including inputting sales, generating and processing invoices, checking statement and dealing with any queries.
- Reconcile remittances against sales invoices
- Credit control - chase outstanding invoices and run aged debtor and creditors reports
- Daily banking - reconciliation in Xero
- Coordination and processing of staff expenses
- Prepare payment runs
- Assist in preparation of month end procedure including journals and accruals
- Assist in quarterly VAT returns
- Support with the year end audit
- Provide general administrative support to Financial Controller and CFO
- Any adhoc tasks assigned by Head of Finance or CFO
**Accounts Assistant Requirements**:
- Ideally AAT or part qualified
- Demonstrable experience in finance role ideally within fast paced environment
- Understanding of financial accounting processes
- Experience working with Xero
- Strong excel skills - Pivot table, VLOOKUP
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Willing to learn & develop with a “can do” attitude.

**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full Time, although part-time hours may be considered.
**Salary**: £25,000 per year
