Horse Groom

Our Family run farm is looking far an Equine Groom to join the team.

On the job training will be provided, however, we do require someone who is confident around competition horses.

~Mucking out maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the stables and surrounding areas

~Groom and care for horses including feeding, watering and exercising them on the carriage with us

~ Previous experience working with horses or in a similar animal care role ispreferred

~Basic knowledge of horses is required

~ Ability to handle horses with patience, care and confidence

~ Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

A strong work ethic is essential. This is a busy stable and requires someone who is ready to take on a challenge

**Responsibilities**
- Provide daily grooming and care for horses, including brushing, bathing, and hoof maintenance.
- Monitor the health and well-being of horses, reporting any concerns to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stables and equipment, ensuring a safe environment.
- Utilize hand and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance as needed.
- Assist with feeding and watering schedules, and support any horticultural tasks related to horse care.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £7.00-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
