We are in the process of recruiting a Graduate Sports Teaching Assistant to assist within both the Physical Education department and the classroom for an Ofsted Outstanding school located in South London. The role is currently open and would require youto start as soon as possible.

To be considered for this role you will have relative experience working with children and young people either in schools, colleges or HEIs. The school are keen on recruiting sporting graduates and individuals with relative experience in the sports industrywho are open to re-training and becoming a teacher.

The position is available to start ASAP and runs until the end of the academic year.

**The Role**

The position is based within a school in South London and has cutting-edge facilities for its staff & pupils. The school has an impressive team of specialists & Teaching Assistants and you will be joining a team that is confident in the work they do. Thisprestigious school are looking to recruit an individual who is dependable and grounded. There is also an opportunity that the school could decide to take you on permanently.

This is a role that necessitates you to have a real desire to support young and vulnerable pupils during their time in school. This is a school that will value the work you do and how you do it. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a leading role in helping to contribute to the daily learning experiences and overall student development.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

- Experience and knowledge of working within a PE department or relative experience working within a sporting institution or academy (Desirable)
- The ability to support your key students in multiple settings: 1:1, within group settings, inside the classroom environment and outdoors
- To use your initiative and lead by example
- To be friendly and professional in your approach to staff & pupils alike
- You must have excellent time management and organizational skills
- You must always carry yourself in a friendly and professional manner
- Sporting graduates who are looking to train to become teachers are hugely desirable
