**Job Purpose**
Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a clean and well maintained environment whilst ensuring excellent standards of Customer Service at all times, and supporting the Security team as and when required
Monday to Friday nights 20:00 to 05:00
Circa Salary £26,801.50
**Responsibilities**:
Assist the Environmental Management Team in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Festival Place whilst providing excellent standards of customer service and care and work closely with the night Duty Manager
Ensure customer and client feedback is used to constantly improve the services offered
Ensure Festival Place is a clean and well-maintained environment and ensure the centre is ready for trade the next day
Conduct a ‘Walk Around' of all internal and external areas of Festival Place at the start of each shift, at opening and closing to highlight any areas that require additional attention and plan this work accordingly
Supervise the Night Environmental team to ensure they look and act in a professional manner and carry out daily tasks and requirements
Assist in the review and updating of cleaning and environmental policies and procedures to ensure they are efficient, meet Company standards and are compliant with statutory legislation
Ensure that a consistently high standard of cleaning service is delivered in accordance with the work schedule
Ensure that all equipment is well maintained and report any faults to ensure repairs are carried out before any adverse effect on the operation
Ensure that all equipment and personal protective clothing is available and used correctly
Ensure that team members are trained on the use of materials and the operation of equipment before their use
Ensure that manual handling training takes place
Assist in ensuring a satisfactory stock level of cleaning materials is available at all times
Assist in emergency situations, including suspect packages and fire incidents
Investigate any new initiatives and improved working practices to improve the operation and ensure business success
Keep up to date with operational issues within Festival Place
Deliver training to the team and support them in completing e-learning training
