Emerging Markets Fixed Income Product Strategist

**Our client, a multinational investment company, is seeking a Emerging Markets Fixed Income Product Strategist to join their Emerging Markets Debt Team. The EMD team manages more than $27 billion in EMD strategies across hard currency, local currency and blended strategies. The team’s forward-looking, thematic investment process uses scenario analysis to guide asset allocation based on market drivers that impact EMD. The group manages flexible portfolios with the ability to nimbly shift from offense to defense, combining deep local intelligence with a broad global perspective.

In this role, you will:

- Work closely with senior product specialists and portfolio managers to support the development and implementation of product strategies and initiatives
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials. This includes drafting of presentation materials consistent with client meeting objectives
- Assist in the preparation of client reports. More specifically, generating the data and materials that are incorporated in our regular reporting. This includes information relating to positions held, risk and performance attribution, market, and performance commentaries
- Proactively engaging with other teams to obtain and interpret data and ensuring smooth interactions between Portfolio Management and Client teams
- Respond to client inquiries and provide solutions for product-related requests
- Conduct market research including industry trends, competitor analysis and ESG
- Assist in the development of product training materials for sales teams and clients
- Create ad-hoc analysis for existing and prospective clients
- Strong interest in fixed income and emerging markets, emerging economies, political systems and financial markets
- Knowledge of fixed income products, including bonds, sovereign debt, and local currency debt
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Numerically literate, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent writing skills
- Emotional intelligence, absolute integrity, and strong work ethic
