We’re hiring for a **CNC Setter Operator** to join an award-winning family run engineering business based in **Glossop**. Supplying to companies including JCB, National Grid, and Schneider Electric, you will be responsible for operating and setting up turning machines to manufacture precision components from a variety of materials, including steel, aluminium, and copper.

**What will you be doing as a CNC Turner?**
- Overseeing machinery setup to make sure arrangement is safe and ready to handle its assigned load to produce precision components
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and making any necessary adjustments to the machines
- Maintaining and updating records about the machine's operations and the team's overall performance
- Regularly inspecting machines for mechanical and safety issues

**What do you need?**
- Proven experience as a Turner Setter/Operator with experience in CNC machining
- Experience using Fanuc control systems
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
