We have an exciting opportunity for a **Fleet Coordinator** to join our team at our headquarters in **Newton Abbot. **This is a key role in our business and is focused on the coordination of all activities relating to our company vehicles including the leasing and off-hiring of vehicles, maintenance, fuel cards, PCNS, and other motoring infringements, and ensuring cost efficiencies, safety, and compliance measures are met. If you're keen and eager to learn, this position will give you plenty of opportunity to grow and develop your skills within fleet management and compliance. **About the role**: With a workforce that is predominately field based, as our **Fleet Coordinator**, some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - To ensure vehicle check reports are completed by engineers; monitoring, reporting and arranging repairs of any defects - To monitor, report and schedule MOTs, services and other vehicle maintenance requirements with 3rd party providers - Onboarding and offboarding of our fleet - both LCV (light commercial vehicles) and company cars to include vehicle cleaning and valeting, damage repairs - Maintenance and upkeep of the Motor Insurance Database (MID) - Fleet supply chain relationship management - Ownership of accident management and driver training programmes - Overseeing van onboard stock and assets, including livery, racking and tracking systems - Substantial budget responsibility - Management reporting and monitoring of fuel spend, accidents, PCNs, driver behaviour, vehicle mileage etc - Provide regular communications and updates regarding transport/vehicle-related points of interest - Experience working in fleet management or logistics preferred - A good understanding of fleet management requirements and dynamics preferred - Experience in customer/supplier relationship management - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong administrative background with a good knowledge of MS Office - Ability to influence and take a proactive approach to problem-solving - Ability and passion to achieve results - Analytical with excellent planning and organisational skills - Flexible approach to work and travel **Our "awesome" stuff**: - 29 days holiday, plus a day off for your work anniversary - 1 x paid volunteering day per year - Cycle to Work Scheme - Holiday buy and sell - Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption pay - Extensive discounts platform - A range of medical and well-being benefits including Simply Health Cash Plan after probation - We're passionate about supporting each other, so we'll also provide you with any training and development you need to do your job well Hours of work: Monday - Friday; 40 hours/week; 08:30 - 17:00 with the flexibility to start and finish outside these hours when required
