Thanks to exciting new contracts added to our ongoing works we are currently looking for an an experienced Health and Safety Consultant to join our growing, driven, and dynamic team.
The interesting and exciting work work will involve carrying out inspections and audits, carrying out risk assessments, fire risk assessments, delivering training, and providing general consultancy advice.
In addition to the salary on offer a £6,000 car allowance is also provided.
**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- Provide competent person advice to clients.
- Write policies and carry out risk assessments on behalf of clients.
- Carry out fire risk assessments
- Carry out audits and property risk assessments
- Deliver a variety of training for client staff - Manual handling, work at height, DSE, fire safety etc.
- Write reports/audits on particular issues.
- Construction site visits
- Be timely in responses to client queries.
- You should have a flexible approach to working.
- Investigate accidents and compile accident reports.
- Liaise with the HSE where required.
**Skills, qualifications and required experience**:
- A level 5/6 health and safety qualification or at least be working towards and already holding a certificate level qualification
- Demonstrable practical experience providing dedicated H&S Advisor/Consultancy services
- Good organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work under pressure and manage your own client portfolio
- Excellent Microsoft Word skills and good knowledge of Office programmes: Outlook and Excel
A driving licence is required for the role.
**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
