Business need; two days a week in the Manchester office

A non-departmental public body, whose principle business has been to deliver government decarbonisation grants and projects, is looking for a fantastic Fraud Manager to set up the right **checks and balances** for an upcoming delivery partner of the _ social and low-income housing decarbonisation projects for the UK_ Your focus will be **fraud prevention**, setting up a fraud management plan to oversee and govern the assurance of two housing schemes

Building a relationship with the department and the Delivery Partner to implement assurances that mitigate fraud and risk for future grant recipients.

Your key objectives will be;
- To build a fit-for-purpose framework to help the delivery partner prevent and detect Fraud; and to ensure the measures are in place to demonstrate they are being followed and the correct information is reported on
- To build a comprehensive fraud risk assessment process at the delivery partner level
- To help recruit and develop a high-performing fraud/risk team from scratch and ensure all the correct processes are put in place

We are looking to speak to people that have;
- Extensive experience preventing Fraud, Risk, and Audit
- Experience working with, or for, **public sector;**including central /local government departments
- Proven leadership skills; experience building out systems and processes that set a team up to succeed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and external parties
